Chambers/Shared Email – Setup
After Migration – Wednesday 9/18 –
After Migration has been completed and Chambers/Shared Mailboxes are ready for Mobile Device Setup you will be contacted by someone in IT with information for Install. With installing a Chambers/Shared Email you must either be connected to the Court WiFi dcn_gtwy Or will need to connect to VPN on the mobile device. Follow the instructions below to successfully setup your desired inbox.
First Remove Traveler Profile –
- Tap on Settings
- General
- Profiles (towards bottom)
- Locate & Tap on Chambers/Shared Email (will showcase email address)
- Remove Profile
- Enter iOS device passcode
- Tap Remove
Installing Chambers/Shared while on dcn_gtwy network –
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Passwords & Accounts
- Tap on Add Account
- Select Microsoft Exchange
- Enter Email Address
- Tap Next
- Tap on Sign In
- You will be taken to a United States Courts Site
- Enter in Password (you will be provided this information in an email on Wednesday 9/18)
- Tap Sign In
- Select Save
Installing Chambers/Shared Remotely Through VPN –
- Tap on Settings
- Enable VPN (located under Personal Hotspot; also could be found under Settings – General – VPN) If VPN has not been installed contact IT
- Username – Jenie
- Password – Jenie
- Enter 1 for Two Factor Push & Tap Ok
- Approve Duo Push notification through Duo App
You have now successfully connected to VPN.
Once Connected to VPN –
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Passwords & Accounts
- Tap on Add Account
- Select Microsoft Exchange
- Enter Email Address
- Tap Next
- Tap on Sign In
- You will be taken to a United States Courts Site
- Enter in Password (you will be provided this information in an email on Wednesday 9/18)
- Tap Sign In
- Select Save
Your Chambers/Shared Email has been successfully added to your iOS Device.
After Outlook Email Setup has been completed – Please Verify Settings –
Mail Days to Sync –
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Passwords & Accounts
- Select Chambers/Shared Email
- Tap on Mail Days to Sync
- Change from 1 month to No Limit
Default is automatically set to 1 month with exchange (personal preference on syncing) however, I generally recommend the user to select the option No Limit.
